I knew that Josh and Danae were in love the first time I met them. When they had searched for a wedding photographer around Greensboro, my name had popped up. I had emailed back and forth with Danae for a bit and we decided to meet and talk about their wedding at a local frozen yogurt place in Asheboro. We all knew that The Table had our hearts, but our schedules weren’t lining up with their hours, so off for some delicious froyo we went.
So we chatted about them: how they met, what they liked to do and how their wedding was going to be. They’re just the most genuine couple. They have confidence that God placed them together, working together every detail to let them meet and setting the stage for their lives intertwining. As per a lot of God-sized stories, it probably shouldn’t have worked out this way, but God had other plans. The more I listened to their hearts for one another and for serving and worshipping, the more excited I became about working with them and going from clients to friends.
This engagement session did not disappoint. We, of course, incorporated their favorite restaurant into their session. They’ve shared a lot of laughs and good food over the tables there. They both have music running through their veins and so when they brought out Josh’s guitar and what I called Danae’s “mini-guitar” (haha!) I knew it would be perfect.
I absolutely loved getting to be part of their evening. They are warm-hearted, welcoming and truly lovely people. They smile and laugh so much and just love their life they’ve been given. It gave me joy and was such a blessing to get to become a small part of their story. I cannot wait to celebrate with you on your big day in June!
